Norwalk Auto Auction House Arbitration Policy
We expect all of our guests to be professional buyers and sellers, and it is our duty to treat you with the respect and courtesy you deserve.
Arbitration for no title – Seller has 45 days to produce title. If title has not been provided by the 45th day, buyer must contact the auction to place a “24-hour notice of intent to arbitrate”. If seller has not produced title within the allotted 24 hours, auction will honor the vehicle return.
All Arbitration on vehicles purchased “Green Light” must be submitted by 5pm on the DAY OF SALE.
There is NO ARBITRATION FOR APP DUPLICATE TILES, LIEN SALE PAPER WORK, BONDED TITLE, STRUCTUAL DAMAGE, STRUCTUAL ALTERATION, BROKEN ODOMETERS, for vehicles selling for $5000 and less.
There is NO ARBITRATION available FOR ANY REASON for vehicles purchased that are 20 years and older or under $1500 including BRANDED TITLES & ODOMETERS.
Any vehicle announced as “NO ARBITRATION” INCLUDES STRUCTURAL, STRUCTUAL ALTERATION, MECHANICAL or vehicle that is a TOW. “NO ARBITRATION FOR ANY REASON”. Buyer responsibility to check vehicles prior to sale day.
Arbitration is not available for intermittent conditions. The vehicle must display the active problem at the time of arbitration.
Cut off for Post sale inspection is 3pm day of sale. Exceptions apply for late offer approvals.
Vehicles purchased as-is that will not start after the sale are not subject to arbitration.
Norwalk Auto Auction PAYMENT POlicy
Payment is due same day of purchase.
Late fees are $50 posted daily.
Vehicles not picked up within 10 days of purchase are subject to storage fees and impound.
